Child Based Learning

I use a creative curriculum approach incorporated with a developmentally appropriate practice that balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children's learning styles and building upon their strengths and interests. It is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear organizational structure with a focus on these key components: literacy, math, social studies, art, and science. In addition, it uses these interest areas: blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, art, library, sensory, music and movement, and discovery.
